IIT GATE 2026 :- The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT) has released a notification regarding the admission to the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2026), for which the application form can be filled from 28 August, 2025, to October 6, 2025. Candidates who are interested in the examination and fall within the eligibility criteria are advised to fill out the application form within the time limit.

Candidates are advised to read every detail about the exam process as well as about the eligibility criteria so as to avoid any case of discrepancy before applying. After filling the application form within the time limit candidates need to turn on the notification for further details ranging from admit card release to the release of results either from official site @gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

How to Apply for IIT GATE 2026 Online Form
  • First step is to visit the official website of the Indian Institute of Technology (guwahati) @goaps.iitg.ac.in
  • Now you will be on the official website, click on the menu button, and open the Admission Section.
  • In the Admission Section, search for IIT GATE 2026 Notification. Click on the Apply Online Link.
  • Next Step is to complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) if you have not already registered. Fill in all the required details including like personal information, educational qualifications, and category and many more.
  • Now upload all the scanned copies of required document like passport-size photograph, signature, and other required documents in the prescribed format.
  • Pay the application fee through the online payment methods according to your usage. Please check your details carefully before the final submission.
  • Submit the Application form and take a printout of the application form for future reference/usage.
